Tracking the Turbo

Depending on track temps I ran my PS4S's at 31-33 front and 33-34 rear Hot. The average temps were about 85*. They gain alot from cold to hot 5 lbs average from cold to hot. Bring your tire inflator for the way home. I run my car in sport mode with the PDCC on.
Good luck...

Newby Tire Question
I am new to Rennlist & Porsche. I have a 2019 991.2 running Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires FA 245, RA 305.
I am confused about HPDE track day tire pressure. What "cold" pressure should I start with and what psi should I target coming off track hot?
Do I set up the Tire Pressure Monitoring system or manually manage pressures.
I appreciate your input.

Thanks for the advice on tracking the 991.2 TTS.
It's an EXCELLENT track car!

First PCA DE Experience
I completed my first Porsche Club DE yesterday and was most impressed with the instructors and the track.
Thank you for the advice in tire pressures.
The car cleaned up well with the exception of rubber on the rear wheel well vinyl paint protection.
How do you remove the rubber without damaging the vinyl?
Thank you for any advice.

Just picked up a 2015 Turbo Cab. Car is primarily street driven, but will hopefully see a handful of track days a year. Hoping to get a few questions answered about track setups on the 991 TT/TTS:
- What are good camber recommendations front and rear? (And is it possible to achieve without aftermarket parts?)
- What aftermarket suspension parts are people finding useful? Trying to keep it to a minimum if possible, but also know that a few items here and there can really help dial in the alignment/prevent needless wear.
- Is 265/35-20 and 325/30-20 still the preferred tire setup on Cup2s? Any tramlining or rubbing with this setup on the street? Anyone try 255/315?

Following up, those 265/325 don't rub, even with lowering springs. There are now 255/315 sizes available in Cup2 R, and they are much less expensive. That's probably what I'd track. For street/track, I'd just go Cup2 in whichever size makes sense.
(To be clear, I don't follow my own advice, and am still on the 265/325 Cup2 R on the GT2RS, but I should be!!)

(Does anybody have a story of a 991 TTS flipping or rolling on track?)

I run Cup2s in factory N1 sizes. In many cases the Cup2s in Porsche N1 specs have a bigger foot print then the larger sizes also staying within the spec for the AWD system.
This is the alignment I have been running with factory parts for the past year with excellent tire wear. The only thing that has been changed suspension wise is the addition of a DSC Sport Controller ( highly recommend )
Front -2.7 Camber toe at 1mm out
Rear -1.7 Camber toe at 1mm in.
