HEY! Before comments go crazy, here goes. I'm about 5.8, 138 lbs, BMI of about 22. That's decent?
But I feel my car is a bit overweight. I would like to loose weight on my 991.2 TTS to about 3400 lbs. which is about 150 lbs diet.
Can you gurus tell me how I can achieve this?
Question: does anyone have any 1/4 mile or 60-130 before and after dropping the weight?
TBH, I’ve always just accepted that the TTS would be a bit portly, but I didn’t expect a strong return on investment from dropping weight on this platform unless I went really hardcore. On my track cayman, I pulled close to 10% out (including lithium battery) which made a huge difference considering it has less than half the HP. But the car is obviously unusable on the street.
Is this for real... Reminds me of the weight weenies in the cycling world... That $200 carbon fiber seatpost will let me climb that hill .02 seconds faster.. lol
I think I'm somewhere in the 70-80 lb savings range with the full Kline Inconel exhaust, and HRE R101LW wheels. Might have added 10 pounds back with the larger intercoolers.
I think battery would be the next best step to remove weight from the front to balance things out.
