I thought all you guys had to shelter in place in Cali?

What exactly does that mean?

Exactly what it implies. Shelter in place unless you need to get out for "essential services".

Essential services will remain open, such as:
  • Gas stations
  • Pharmacies
  • Food: Grocery stores, farmers markets, food banks, convenience stores, take-out and delivery restaurants
  • Banks
  • Laundromats/laundry services
  • Essential state and local government functions will also remain open, including law enforcement and offices that provide government programs and services.

Doesn't mean you can't get out for a hike, which I did yesterday as well (away from crowds and people), nor drive somewhere for "essential gas".

Yes, gas stations are still deemed as "essential. services".

I made sure to use a glove with the pump handle and used hand sanitizer afterwards.

Well, that sucks.

We had a number of community all hanging out in a park and on a wharf this weekend - we are expecting shelter in place order soon.

Super good idea. Keep some disposable nitrile gloves with you for refueling!

Bought boxes of them when this was hitting the fan. Use them at supermarkets, stores, gas pumps.

I always wear gloves when refueling - I HATE the smell of fuel/diesel on my hands...

I finished paint correction and ceramic coat on my new to me car. I also installed a new head unit, clear tail/side lights, and debadged. I'm not sure I love the debadge, I might add the Porsche lettering back, perhaps in black. Either way I had to debadge to clean/correct the rear bumper. I can't wait to drive it now, since I've been working on it for two out of the three weeks I've owned it.

Nice...I opted for black rear badging ..I ordered the car with chrome as the dealer option for black was the same cost as purchasing new black letters after doing the film...I wanted the letters OVER the film...I kinda like the look. Luckily my 3m shop has the real Porsche template for laying out/appling the letters so I could always go back to chrome or alter the layout...here is some idea of black on black
