Just curious and I know it's one's preference for the location of a radar detector. I keep mine on the driver's side so I only have to move my eyes up w/o moving my head to see the detector and an easy reach to mute it when needed. Again, just curious, why on the passenger side?

I use 2 different tones for K and Ka so I don't need to look at it. Unfortunately at my summer home some towns still use K or I would have it turned off. But when I hear Ka I immediately get to the speed limit. I can reach the mute easily.
The mount is a $10 piece from eBay.

I want to see mine because my V1 (2nd gen) shows me where the threat is coming from.

Edit: please don't take this as a detector verses detector debate.

I have a V2 in my other car and do peek at the arrows but in realty when I hear Ka Im at the speed limit.
