Problem is if your washing the car and have your key in your pocket, it also pops the frunk (guess the signal travels thru the water). I usually leave my key in the car when washing, just to keep it from happening, but was at a car wash just rinsing it off and didn't think about it. Also didn't notice it had popped from spraying it off so drove off with it open.
I will leave my fob in the garage while I'm washing the car in the driveway. But, usually I forget to do that until the first time I'm wiping down the front bumper cover and the frunk pops open and I have to put my soapy hands into my pants pocket to retrieve my fob. LOL

One of Porsche's more questionable features... The ratio of times it pops open inadvertently (usually when washing or drying or squeezing past the front of the car in the garage) to actually working when I want it to (wave, touch, higher, lower, more to the right or left, POP!) is huge.

Gratuitous car wash picture:

I'm just glad it gave me my boost back, and I didn't have to remove the rear bumper... 😂

Just had new tires installed, Continental DWS06+ in stock sizes. Also a Speedtech level 5 cat back exhaust, reusing my stock tips. So far I love it . At idle it's got a low rumble, much better than stock. In cruise you can barely hear it. Have not had the opportunity to drive it in anger or in sport/sport +.

You don't need to wait for Sport + with your SpeedTech set-up. In the tamer Sport mode, the gurgles and crackles show up, and it gets louder once you get into the throttle a bit. I agree that it is very civilized in normal mode at cruise, but once you get into it in one of the Sport modes, it's awesome.

I think you'll really enjoy the Continentals as well.

Currently I'm still stock but am close to pulling the trigger on a Soul Performance X-pipe. Hope to close the deal Tuesday...

Default Flashed Cobb PDK aggressive mode

Can't tell any difference, except "no creep" feature. Must not be driving hard enough.
