We DO NOT ask why... Car guys know there is no point or need in asking "why"... OF COURSE there is a reason, even if it only rational inside our own head.

I thought, ok, if I ignore it innocently, he won't notice...

I was worried there, went so far as to look into organizing bourbon delivery in Colorado,
I think that's called bootlegging, but at least you have the car for it...

Hmmm... maybe we should make that an annual event, the "911 Turbo Canada -> Colorado Bootleg Rally". Time-clock punched at your workshop to mine, carrying a case of top shelf bourbon.

Google maps says Vancouver -> Denver is 1,440 miles in 21 hr 54 min. Who can do it in 14:00:00?

Winner takes all (of the bourbon)

Funny, I was thinking something similar the other day - Colorado is essentially in the middle of NA, so we could organize drives from the east/west coasts, meet up in Co, and have some bourbon...

Driving through Montana, Idaho and points east is very entertaining - Montana has 85mph speed limits, as does Utah, so I think that's about the highest in the states.

Should also apologize to all if my new toy disappoints, and/or was completely unexpected ...

No, it was highly entertaining, and a good distraction as the roads have been un-drivable for the Turbos for a few weeks now. Very unusual for around here, usually we turn on the solar heaters and the roads are clear in a day or so, unless in the mountains. Not this time. Layers of snow and ice that aren't melting off...

But more importantly, what is this??? Don't recall seeing that one in your collection previously....

Oh, that's @sdematt GT3-ish, a 3.8l 01 Carrera conversion that is morphing into a GT3 clone - it's pretty entertaining to drive, once it warms up here a bit, it's going to get a Softronic tune to match the cams and increase in displacement. Falls a little flat up top at the moment.

Or a 997 Turbo

Congrats on the pick up - looks great. Is that a PTS yellow?

I wish I had a warehouse like that. On the other hand I would have spent so much more $$ on cars.
