After much procrastination, dug into the belly of the Turbo again this afternoon...
Off came the Soul (which I really do like), off with the stock cats, off with the stock exhaust manifolds.
A Kline exhaust, 100 Cell HJS cats and Kline headers will go in, swap out the JB4 for a Cobb, and finally get Sam to work some of his magic. Not going to set any records (1. I'm at altitude, 2. It's a .1, not a .2, so some fueling limitations, and 3. I tend to get distracted with other car projects!) but it is damn quick now and will be damn quicker?
Tons of room down there with the exhaust, cats, and manifolds out! Pulling the manifolds was much easier than I expected.
Parts.... Those ceramic coated Kline headers sure are sexy. What a shame no one will ever see them!

Any reason I shouldn't reuse the stock header-to-block and header-to-turbo gaskets? They look decent and it will take a while to get replacements.

I didn't, but I'm kind of paranoid that way. If you email Kline they'll ship you new ones, you just have to pay for shipping. They also sent new straps. I had them in 2 days.

When it comes down to my labor, I’m lazy. I always use new gaskets to get a fresh crush on the embedded oring to ensure I don’t have to take it apart again. But folks have reused them without issue.
It's still miserable weather here in MI. I am getting it into the doctor before the rush. CSF intercoolers, DO88 hose set, IDP Plenum, Y pipe, BMC filter, and Evoms Diverters are added to the Europipe exhaust and Softronic tune. We will see if the tune will work with the hardware upgrades.

It’s a Softronic tune, which is strong but it’s meant for a stage 1-2. I am going to let them rework it first. I’m not sure what I’m going do if I’m not happy with it. I don’t have a lot of time to test and send files back and forth so I don’t know if I will go the Cobb tune route. I only run 93 fuel, I don’t need a lot of tunes. The AP4 and APR are interesting. Looking for 140+- 1/4 mile and still usable at occasional HPDE events.
