Yeah, but didn't I read it's limited to 106 Max MPH? Even for a truck that would be unacceptable.
Romping a 3 ton (+) vehicle at 100mph is a challenge to maintain on anything more than a very straight piece of road - going through the mountains in the RST, rarely do I run more than 80/85mph, and even at that speed, it can be a bit sketchy if you aren't lining up the corners properly.
IMHO, limited top speeds in trucks is not a bad thing.

I think they mentioned that in the haggerty's drag race.
So I have a dilemma. Well I have interest in the RS side skirts because I like the aggressiveness they add to the look I'm concerned about a shop being able to paint match them correctly (graphite blue) if I tried to get them painted but I'm also worried that if I left them black they would not look right on this car.
I got to spend some time with the Rivian when Jason Camissa and the Hagerty crew asked me to bring my GMC Syclone out for a video they were making about fast pick up trucks, I was very impressed with the Rivian's features and overall quality and capabilities. There is a segment in the video where the Rivian races while towing my Syclone and the results are impressive to say the least. For me the only downside with the Rivian is the towing range - it probably would not be able to tow my Airstream the 133 miles to Famoso Drag Strip from where I live without needing to be re-charged. Otherwise I would have considered buying one. Instead I have a Porsche Cayenne to tow the Airstream.

Most any body shop can get the paint code you have to match. Get some recommendations for your area and do it. Enjoy!

Very cool! i think Camissa and Hagerty are making some of the best (entertaining) car content these days... Syclone held its own!

I think towing longer distances, particularly to remote areas, is definitely the limitation on an EV pickup right now... And the charging network while pretty good still has some room for improvement.
On the top speed, it's about 112 on the R1T, limits off a bit earlier like 110 if you are full throttle from launch. I think pretty much every "hot pickup" is limiting at about that speed, I think mostly due to tire speed ratings. It's kind of funny with the Rivian on the drag strip, it hits 110, you feel it stop accelerating, and you look down the road and see the 1/4 mile mark is still a ways off! If Rivian allowed a bypass of that, it would likely be 11.2 or 11.1 ET's... At 1,000' DA, at 10,000' DA, no difference.
