I am; I also have a good relationship with all of them, and to be completely fair, they were right... Jabba is a little slug like for my liking, plus I had a hard time understanding him - these guys here have no problems understanding me...

I looked at their jabbing as a form on encouragement - now, ironically, I'm in better shape and quicker on my feet than most of them.

Not sure who it was that told me they had the same issue with the Washer Fluid tube cracking / breaking under the hood like mine, and had it fixed for like $90, but my freaking dealer said it'll be $500+ for that fix.

They also found some hose / fitting that was starting to leak coolant (allegedly) which is going to be like $600+.

I'd totally forget about my Fidelity Plat. warranty and called them back yesterday. Turns out, they're covering both repairs for only my $250 deductible.

Thank Goodness!!

Swapped to the HRE wheels. Fixed rear hood struts. New cabin filters. Inspected oil and looked good. Waiting on DSC controller and smoked side lights to show up. Also Sam Tune and Access port show up tomorrow. Other than that debating on taking it to local shop to fix broken sunroof shade or just do it myself. Got the service manual and dropping headliner doesn't seem that bad.

Owned the car less than week.

Also a quick mention... Upgraded from my previous QJ 5000 SLX to the new Quickjack 5000 TL, 24" of lift is NICE! (But finding a big ole nail in my tire once it was up in the air wasn't quite so nice....)

Default New floor mats and window tint

Got some Coco floor mats to add a little color to the interior and had my windows tinted. Got Expel 70% on the sides and rear windows.

Great looking mats. I was thinking of doing the same adding to my black and Bordeaux interior.

Just spent close to $7K on catching up on maintenance and repairs for the '14 Turbo S.

Mods:
  • Added Turbo S side decals
Repairs:
  • Front trunk struts (DIY - 5 minute job)
  • Replaced oil filled intercooler tube
  • Replaced rear lower bushings attached to the wheel carrier. Due to supply chain constraints and no Porsche ETA, had to buy the last set of Tedgums (at an exorbitant price) and install them using the Elephant Racing tool. Worked out great!
  • Front differential boots
  • Replaced front tires due to previous owner still having the original '14 date code tires on
  • Still need to do: battery replacement
Maintenance (43K miles): Basically did the full list this year.
  • Passenger filter (DIY)
  • Luggage filter (DIY)
  • Oil Change
  • Brake fluid change (1 year early)
  • Spark plugs (PITA)
  • PDK Clutch Fluid
  • PDK Transmission oil (with pan replacement - 4 years early)
  • Drive belt
  • Engine air filter
  • PDCC reservoir replacement
  • Front Differential + Controller oil (4 years early)
