Is there a regular schedule in the winter when they do this at Penske? I'm sure I'll be out to visit my parents at Desert Mountain for a couple weeks this winter and would love to stop by.
Sorry you did not make it out...was a decent turn out but as you know nothing like in the winter. And agree the weather is finally starting to turn and the CnC numbers will pick up.
What do you drive? Will look for you at the next one! I usually roll with my buddies...one with a Jag F Type R (pictured behind me in above pic) and the other in a Sheepy built R8 (badass car).
Is your buddies R8 the Red one that is currently for sale? I've seen it out a C&C and I'd be lying if I said I haven't looked at the for sale add a few times over the past month as a Sheepey/UGR R8 was on the short list of alternatives when I was looking at 911's. Ultimately, the in your face attention and lack of ability to lug the kids around pushed me away from the R8. Still amazing cars though especially after Sheepey/UGR gets done with them.
Ironically, I have the twin car to my partner. Silver 991.2 Turbo but with black wheels and RS side skirts (see below). This was not planned, but just how the stars aligned. I missed out on 3 991.2's earlier this year right as things started to get crazy, so when this one popped up I jumped on it. I will probably be out at the Highline C&C on 10/2 so if you see me, come say hi! I am also considering signing up for No Fly Zone next month, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I went two years ago in my F80 M3 and it was a great time!

First of all...Gorgeous Turbo!!! I wanted White or Silver...best colors IMHO as my last 3 fast cars were black...never again!
Yes the Red Sheepy R8 is my buddies car and he is willing to sell it for the right price but would probably turn around and buy another one...or a GTR??? That car ran a 10.25 at Wildhorse on street tires on a prep track and the AWD system kept freaking out...stupid fast car!!!

I have the twins to yours also with same black wheels.... Turbo S with 5 lugs.
Strange weekend. Pickup up my Turbo Friday after having it polished and ceramic coating put on top of the XPEL. Then had a deer jump in front of my car last light. Luckily was going slow and even knowing to look out, had the deer jump out of the grass into my path. Be careful to those where the deer population is large. This is the active season for deer.
Well yesterday I took my car to the 2021 Atlanta streetcar takeover event since it will be the last one ever at Atlanta Dragway. They sold the property to developers. Pictures and videos to follow but for today, I finally changed the in the cab cabin air filter. I bought it several months ago when I did the plugs will finally got around to doing it today.
Went out with the Porsche club to try out Autocross for the first time for me and this car. Got lost on the first round a few times but on the second session did much better. Amazing how this car transitions from long sweepers to short 90* turns in a short distance with ease. Still amazed with this platform. Can't wait for the next one. Actually in two weeks going out to the clubs DE event out at Arizona Motorsport Park to do some road racing. After that going to do something I'm real familiar with NoFlyZone 1/2 mile race on 10/13.

Sounds like you had a blast I will be taking my 2015 Turbo to NFZ Arizona on October 23rd for its first run. SO JAZZED!!!
