More silly motorbike photos. 1st couple are from Utah Motorsports park (formerly Miller) through the Attitudes. Kid on the 520 bike was 13 at the time. He raced MotoAmerica Stock 1000 last year and scored points in all his races at 17....
Second group is at Halloween Boot Camp - Seriously, GO!!!!! Go by yourself or a group of friends. It is an absolute hoot.
Phillip Island is just AWESOME!!!. It just flows. Coming down the straight, roll over the down hill, you instinctively just want to brake and admire the southern ocean. then you realize how much farther you have to go and how much FASTER you can go. Just loved that track. Lukey Heights has so much more elevation change than it appears on TV; can't imagine Iannone and hitting that gull.....
And the track day was almost nothing. $500 US for the track day, lunch, gear and BMW S1000RR with fresh tires. What a great trip that was.
Funny that! Of the 3 days I rode PI at speed, I didn't even noticed the Southern Sea (Too preoccupied with T1). PI is one of my most favorite tracks, that's for sure! (Miller came close)
There is a ton of work on that G body inside and out, all really nice, and it drives superbly... A true 911 hot rod. Owner also has a really nice 996 turbo, though I don't think he frequents the forums.
Look what showed up...FVD Brombacher exhaust. Going on this Thursday.
I was going to try a catless Quicksilver exhaust but in the end, I decided to try Brombacher instead. No one I know has tried this system so I'll be the guinea pig. At $1800, the price is right for a true German made catless exhaust. It works with OEM cats but I'll be running Soul Performance cat bypass tubes. I have a Brombacher system on my wife's 981 Boxster S and it sounds amazing.
