Let;'s just say the Performante can't do back to back laps of 6:52 on the original set of tires.
Marc Lieb just did a back to back to back 6:57 on the Ring while they are testing the .2 GT3. Went on on fresh tires and didn't change and all 3 laps are within 0.8 second.
Actually that's something no other manufacturers can do. A 918 can do 6:57 all day, all week, all year. McLaren might have one hero lap then falls off the cliff with the P1. Same with Lambo with the Performante and Mercedes with their GT-R or whatever the name is.

Cool vid, but the GT3 ran a 7:12 and the 918 was the 6:57

Adding clarity.
Why is Porsche not stating ring time and offering allocations. Understand 2RS only comes around so often and seeing Porsche tossing around the entry of F1 things could get interesting 488VS GT2RS MacLT - sweet group my guess Ferrari McLaren produce 750 hp.

Ferrari has no desire of bragging rights at the Ring.
GT2RS 488VS Performante 720LT - three will be offered in a Spider one will not. Have a deposit on the 488VS while local P dealer hasn't responded about the availability to a GT2RS in weeks.
Porsche 2RS at 300K has the least developed engine RS doesn't have enough hp to compete with the competition but below 200k they don't have to.

Not sure of name IMO 488 did not sell wonderful if they want to produce 1000 - 2000 the GTO name would do it followed by a 500 - 1000 spiders versions.
Ferrari needs 9000 rpm's 750 hp McLaren will be there as well.
