I feel these will eventually settle around $300k give or take. Collectible, but tarnished with the .2 GT3 which is better in almost everyway. Hate is high towards this car. Lol If it was the same cost as a .1 GT3 RS I'd rather have the 911R any day of the week. More than .1 GT3 RS? I'd just take the .2 GT3 manual and enjoy the improvements and call it a day.
I think the dealership priced it well for someone out there to enjoy.

Did any 918 go for Double?
I see them offered, but do any sell to any end users?

Curious as what this would trade for in a no reserve auction.
I tried exceedingly hard to get a 911 R - and got denied on all counts
That being said I will offer you 245k for this example.

The options that made the R unique they didn't even order;lwb's with houndstooth, lightweight flywheel and no PTS. Limited or not these will not be the crazy price collectors thought they were. When the VIP's get the GT2RS these will be for sale by the dozens and certainly not at this price.
This is one example speculators went wrong.

I don't see how this car deserves to trade at 4.0 997 RS prices. I think some unencumbered money was involved by people who just wanted to own the unobtainable, and now the music has stopped with folks who are the not the destined owners caught holding onto a market adjustment.

Is it at all conceivable that the .2 GT3 with manual will have similar final production numbers as the R? Production run should span about 18 months with .2 3RS's and GT2's also stealing production capacity in the second half of that window.
