Am I Nuts for buying a Demon
I just bought a Dodge Demon (840hp, 0-60 2.3sec, 9.65 sec 1/4 mile including a three foot long wheelie at the start line).
It is a limited edition vehicle, with 3,000 being made for the US and 300 for Canada, and then that's it. 1 year only. Each with a serial number.
And I got it at list as I put my deposit down early and Dodge put a program in place to disincentivize dealers from selling above list (if the dealer sells above list, their order goes to the back of the line).
I know it's a dodge, and I will doubt I will drive it much after the initial thrill of launching it, but I have to believe this will be the top of the 2nd muscle car generation, and will be valuable as such some day.
Am I nuts?

Not nuts at all, buy anything that makes you happy. I personally think it is an awesome car and think you will have fun in it if you drive it. The big problem is deciding if you are willing to actually put too many miles on it,, Me personally, I would be at the track drag racing it a lot. I love the fact that Dodge is building such a car, pretty ballsy if you ask me, but cool as hell to say the least. Enjoy and post some pics.
