That was close. And did you see how close the GTE Pro race was? Damn.

Racing doesn't get better than that. That is IT!

Tough break for Corvette, and three in a row for Porsche. That is why you race the race. Porsche had the older car and Toyota had the pace. It seemed like there were a lot of punctures this year.

Amazing, just brilliant - well done Porsche - true champions -never gave up. LMP P1.

Huge, commiserations to Toyota

Even bigger commiserations to Chevrolet - brilliant effort, truly well driven.

Superb racing

Hours of hard racing and it all comes down to going the last few minutes without a hitch. The Aston/Corvette head to head was thrilling. I didn't think the #2 919 was coming back and they came back to win. Great race.

You guys think the 919 will keep racing? It was off the pace here and at Daytona.

Toyota proved, that pace isn't everything in endurance racing. Again!

I would have rather seen RSR podium. Gave it up to the GT for gas

Congrats on 19 wins!

But you have to wonder how reliable hybrid tech can be. OTOH LMP2's NA V8s seemed to fare very well.

Race stewards are reviewing the contact between the Aston and corvette on the second to last lap. Skip ahead to .45 seconds to see up close footage of the contact in question.

True, though Cadillac went 1,2 at Daytona.

*This would have been posted 10 min sooner were it not for a Prius.

Don't get why people care about LMP. Doesn't interest me one bit. Can't buy them, can't drive them and don't relate to the show room. I'd rather watch cars that can be acquired. Maybe if PAG put as much effort into GTE Pro they would
b doing better.

Someone please and explain why LMP should be of interest and why I should
care?
