Is Peloton the Porsche GT of stationary exercise bikes?
Yeah, Wahoo or Stages is what you're looking for. Disclosure: I don't have the discipline to ride inside so I'm not the best source but my friends that do all like the Stages stuff. FWIW I use Stages meters on my mountain bikes and they're a solid piece of kit.
Brought it home last evening. Overall, very happy with the paint, and protection and window tint. The windshield is yet to be covered with Clearplex. Hopefully in the next week or two. It’s at 200 miles as of tonight. I’m working with P1 on some seat inserts which I’m really looking forward to. Will post an update when they arrive. Trying PDK this time around. It was the main reason for the change from the 981 GT4, plus of course the color.
Very happy to have it home. The process began last September. Feeling very fortunate and grateful!
First time I saw it without shipping wrappers - at detailer’s shop. Turnpike rest stop on the way home. The color looks very different in sun vs shade vs indoors. Home CnC this morning.
Great looking GT4 Carol! Would love to hear your impressions of the differences in both engine and transmission from the 981. I suspect the PDK solves the long gearing and the greater midrange of the 4.0 solves the flat spots.

Double congrats. I'd be interested in your thoughts too. What is the color? Thanks

Thanks Chris! Too soon to provide meaningful feedback with only 250 miles since Friday night. But I will be piling on the break-in miles and post my thoughts.

Thanks tasman! The color is Slate Grey (Y97). There are two non-metallic Slate Greys, the other being more of a charcoal (615). The third Slate Grey which is metallic is only for 911, and was not available. Crazy that there are two colors called the same thing but very different, with a third version in metallic (also same name).
Put a few laps on the new gt4 pdk on track. Motor is a bit better maybe more torque but doesn’t really feel like much more. You’d probably notice it more on street than track. The real revelation is the stock chassis calibration is much better than the 981 version. nice driving car.
