Oh man, been lurking in this thread for years, so sorry to hear about your leg, at least it didn't fall off. I suffer from a variety of undiagnosed (perhaps undefined) mental disorders that I just barely keep in check through obsessive cycling, in fact, the only thing standing between me and a life of raving lunacy is a well kept garage full of well ridden bicycles. I'm more than a little sympathetic to your plight. Get well soon Mooty, love reading about your adventures.

Contact Davidsw.com I am sure you know him since you are into watches, but he could get you what you want. But you will probably pay ADM.

What he currently has in stock. https://davidsw.com/watches/patek-philippe/

Glad it wasn’t into the knee joint. Infected prepatellar bursa is definitely a lesser evil. You probably have a PICC line and will need a few weeks of antibiotics. Get well and back on the bike soon!

ouch - I feel your pain - currently have bursitis in my right shoulder - lost a battle between a ruck sack and tree branch

Joints always seem so troublesome - sounds like you have good docs and sensible treatment you'll be good to go in no time as long as you follow the doctors orders.

There is only ADM on the 2nd hand market, wait list years long. It’s much worse than Porsche!

If you opt to post pic or video
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
provide a warning a couple posts in
advance so those of us who are
faint-of-heart can skip past it

thanks !

I was in the doc office when moms PICC line was removed after a month of
IV antibiotic. Yikes! Had no idea what it was until it was out (longer than one
might think is possible) and while mom didn’t react at all I didn’t look away fast
enough. I’m a true wimp when it comes to gross stuff (although when my Dad
was in ICU after open heart surgery both my sisters fainted and I stayed on my
feet...). That was probably my upper limit.
