Most of the smoke in the Bay Area is actually coming from the fire up in the marshland of the delta on Grizzly Island near Suisun City and Fairfield..

how stable is the Seasucker with the curved part of the wing? I put my front SS on the roof and rear on the glass.

Sadly fall is here and winter is around the corner in the north east so the car will be going away soon. Trying to get in as much driving as possible.

Got to enjoy a nice ride out in mid valley. Lovely tarmac that hasn’t been destroyed by big trucks and has a lot of new sections. When we here in Cali say to ship out a vehicle, we mean it. The two previous posters have only a small window to enjoy.

The suction cups do fine on the curved bit. I wasn't sure at first, so modified a setup with two cups per rear wheel for redundancy. I have never had one go orange, but still don't mind the belt and suspenders approach....

Haha. That was January.

I DID have a lot of fun and even got to meet some fellow enthusiasts from this Epic thread.

Contemplating a re-do, and can highly encourage. I have also been enjoying the other road trip threads on here.

We’ve got cheese in Texas and one or two good Sushi haunts. Oh, and COTA! Why don’t you NorCal guys trailer your GT’s to a fire free zone?

i don’t know how you guys do it only driving cars 1/2 the year. Austin has some nice driving roads out by lake country but nothing like California.

996 wheels look surprisingly good on 993
btw, in case you do not know, those are the lightest 996 wheels, good choice

TX has real cheese?
my favorites:

Aged Ossau Iraty
Prairie Breeze
Le Secret de Compostelle
Bucheron
Brillat Savarin
Fromage d’afinois Cow France ( super soft like ice cream soft)

The only cheese I know in TX is Queso :-)

They have some crazy good BBQ tho!!! Smoked meat is high art here.
