I have often thought the same, it would be a nice feature.

Mooty - between spyrex and I, we can teach you how to IV espresso. Once you start, you're done.

WRU, what machine is that? I need espresso 2nd only to oxygen.

Longest ride of the year so far today. Went out with a couple buddies who are in way better shape and got pushed hard. Great ride but cooked now.

^ nice ride. I just did my usual.
still trying to now put pressure on left palm. I think that leads to lower left pain... oh well..

ok, WRU, I checked to website. I am already confused.
I'll just drive to christF house to get the espresso

Slayer single group. Way more manual than you might think... there are no nannies on this one, you F it up, it's on you not the machine :-)

i'll admit it though, when it comes to espresso, i'm a junkie.

Will the latest models do pressure profile? By changing the paddle ?

the paddle essentially has two settings;

halfway gives you a low-flow pre-brew, typically about 25 seconds, 2-3 grams
then full throw for your typical full flow shot, 25-27 seconds, just at the point of blonding.

that low-flow pre brew does wonders for sweetness. i usually end with a short low-flow extension of 2-3 grams.

still comes down to beans, water quality, grind quality, temperature and consistent pressure profile.

Amen to quality ingredients being the key. I use a QuickMill Ventrano. Good E61 single group machine with PID. Very consistent and pulls great shots if the other factors are good. Just gotta get it plumbed for water and drain.

Dug the D90 out of the garage. Pretty sure I had not driven it in 8 months. No trickle charger (just a disconnect) and a Walmart battery with a 2011 date on it. Almost fired (still cranked), and just needed a little boost and purred like a kitten. Ok it growled a bit as it has a Borla exhaust. After finding out that detailers are expensive, I decided to give it a shot. The tub paint is original, the doors came off another truck (originals were rusty) and the fenders were repainted so I figured I had nothing to lose.

Came out ok for someone who has zero experience (I went crazy on amazon buying detailing stuff thanks to Rennlist).

If there was a LIKE button on Rennlist I would have just Clicked but then these wonderful pictures would not be re-posted so maybe its OK not to have a LIKE button.

Gorgeous! and two of my favorite cars to drive! Sadly I don't have either one for now...
