I have a bunch of manual cars and its very hard to get the shift wrong unless you intend to do. Anything with 5 or 6 speed gates is pretty straightforward. I found the 7 speed on the Z06 gets tricky sometimes when you go from 4th to 5th and you can end up in 7th, but that usually happens on the upshifts. On most tracks you will never reach 6th anyways so you wont have to worry about mis shifting going down the gears.

I know Porsche did a solution with their 7 speed manual boxes by blocking 7th gate until you get to 6th gear first.

If by "this morning" you mean "a week ago" then yes.

And I refuse to watch Schmooey and his lisp or whatever he's called...

1:22.2 for the Turbo S, 1:22.9 for the GT3.

Walter mentioned that the Turbo S was good for one lap, but over 3-4 laps the GT3 would be more consistent. Matthias chose the GT3 as the one he'd have. The manual transmission option was mentioned, they both agreed the GT3 was much more emotional and more fun than the TS.

Keep in mind the Turbo S wasn't on Cups- the gap would have been larger if it was.

Over just 1 lap the turbo s is king of the hill. Make that 10 laps and the tables turn !
