The 991.2 GT3RS will out perform the .1RS and .2GT3 - thats how it works with Porsche.

Looks like 991.1 C2S is outselling it alone just in pre-owned transactions. 95% of people out there would choose the 991.1 over a 718 4 banger.
991.1 outdated? If that's the case with the Carrera's must be the case with the .1 GT3 and RS??
Anyway, back to the .2 RS. Didn't mean I get off topic too much.

Too many posts here to buy an LE - they end up being feather dusted how enjoyable can that be for Porsche to see their greatest cars sit.
LE's are great for special runs like the 918 but this VIP is a knee jerk (to fill 918 allocations) debacle that needs to be fixed enough of the parts bin few changes LE's.
Porsche should crank out as many as possible this top tier bs by guys who flip or sit on their cars or even worse dealers ADM is IMO poor business all around. Cars and finances don't mix well - again IMHO it's bs for a brand like Porsche these cars are for drivers!

Here's a little discussion of HP and Torque for any geeks like me :

F40 - Minimal impact on airflow, while still creating an inlet for airflow. They can be used in nearly any application that requires airflow, whether that’s feeding an air intake, a radiator, or even cooling for a driver. The Ferrari F40 made extensive use of NACA ducts.

OR...the other crazy alternative is:
If I had paid over MSRP for a .1RS with BOTH the .2GT3 and the .2RS having a better engine and not made in limited production, I would be WTF.
.2RS can "only" have 25HP more with the next and better version of the 4.0 and people will run to get the .2RS. If it is offered in a manual, look out...
We all have been saying this for quite some time.

Not worried about that. New .2GT3 will be selling in most stores for well over MSRP. New GT2RS will be selling for well over MSRP and with the new .2GT3RS when it arrives later in 2019 it will likely replicate the inital numbers the 991.1RS was fetching. Unless of course you are aware of any "anti over msrp" pixy dust that is going to be sprinkled over these new GT cars.
PAG is always improving and making the new "better" than the last. Thats how they sell new cars and make money. Better doesn't mean the last was not good or no longer good. Long list of Porsche Exhibits that are still dream cars to prove that including but not limited the 991.1GT3RS.
Sometimes the older models have a charm and presence. 991.1RS was epic nd still is despite there is always going to be the new and improved model.
Exhibit A. 2012 987 Spyder. Could have bought a new 981 Spyder but the 987 has a special charm.

Most paid over MSRP. Me included. Don't regret it one bit. Love my RS.

Frank reiterated no 991 hybrid last time I saw him (Sebring). But who knows.

As much as I would like to disagree ...being the owner of a flop 991.1....I believe you are correct....which makes me sad I cannot purchase a 911R----
Cheers
