Unlike in your neck of the woods where that probably is enough for house payments.

So why again do people migrate there when everything appears to be overpriced? Has to be more than the climate, the 4 seasons: drought, flood, fire & normal.

Well, with everything, it's not that simple. First, many of us migrated here when it wasn't so nutty expensive. It's always been kinda pricey, but nothing remotely like it is now. And if you bought in years ago, housing cost is a non-issue.

Second, the job opportunities here are pretty epic for some and it is the center of the tech universe.

Third, say what you will about all the negatives, the positives are unmatched anywhere in the U.S. So for some, the net of the positives and the negatives is still a positive. To each his own. We're one foot out the door of SV now that our kids are off to college, but still not certain if we're heading out of the State entirely, though the combination of the enormous public pension overhang, that single payer healthcare proposal and the idea that unfettered immigration has no cost implications may just make that decision for me. Taxes in California are going up significantly in the future; no way around it.

It is a tough choice, Bronson. I would not make that decision quickly, either. Because I have a PDK the next one would probably be a manual, just to experience the car in a different way, AND legitimize my poser creds! lol

I would probably struggle with color and seats as well. I don't think I could go white again, because the car just wouldn't feel new. GT Silver!

Yes that is correct...June, July and August builds...will all be PDK only and no PTS either. September PTS and manual orders can be placed.
Brett - If that's the case doesn't a June build need to lock configuration in the next few weeks? That's a quick turnaround with dealers still waiting on allocations.

Are you saying there will be US PDK allocations for June, July and August or are you agreeing that June, July and August allocations go to Europe and ROW.

Depends on how much market adjustment you're willing to make. Sorry, can't resist.

Yes we should have at least 3 weeks to lock up an order. That should not be an issue for dealers already asking clients for their build codes....

Hey Brett,

Has Sonnen already contacted all their initial PDK allocation buyers? And how many was in the first batch?

Thanks!

I come up to Thunderhill so you can come down to Buttonwillow.

Mark your calendar, Sat & Sun Nov 11-12th with PCA San Diego at Buttonwillow...be there or be square.
