Porsche of Beachwood would only sell me an MSRP allocation if I traded my GT3 for 115K, that stickered for 155K. No trade no allocation. I finally landed an MSRP PTS allocation for trading my GT3 for 19% under MSRP, but get back 8% credit, sales tax. Some here have suggested it's a bad deal, I however think it's fair. Would love to hear how a person gets MSRP for their trade while receiving PTS allocation at MSRP. My only P car purchase was my 15 GT3 and the dealer I ordered from was not the dealer that sold me my 15 GT3. I'm all ears how I could have gotten a better deal, considering the circumstances.

My dealer, who is not on Rennlist, confirmed exactly what Brett at Sonnen has said. They received allocations for the entire 2018 production run this past week and do not expect to receive any more. Not sure why people are doubting him.

Sounds like a fair deal to me as well. Some people here are totally unreasonable. Want msrp and expect msrp when they trade in. The 'I demand to drive a car for free' mentality has to end

I find the dealer information on this site very helpful and Brett has been especially helpful. Otherwise I'd be relying on a lot of unreliable sources.

"... that Porsche is only building at this stage for CY 2018 1200 cars. "

I asume those 1200 cars for CY18 is the american allocation (of aprox. 3000 cars total CY18), and not total production. Right?

I wonder if Gaudin is the dealer that he's working with. I've tried to work with them but alas they showed their true colors and aren't a dealership that I can recommend or call a good guy dealer which is disappointing.

I know there are a bunch of folks who already got allocations, are wishing this car would stay somewhat limited and are claiming allocations are done. But if the reality is that they don't really know and that only Porsche knows if they are going to release more allocations. Then it does not really matter what they say. I for one hope more allocations are released so I can get an allocation.
Even though I got an allocation, I hope everyone that wants a GT3 gets one. It's a collector car and should be enjoyed.

I was contacted yesterday by a Western NY dealer. I was 3rd on the list and thought I'd get one (they received 3 991.1 cars). I was told, "all allocations have been handed out" and they only received 1 car.

I was first on the list for an R. I realize that was a different story but I have to say after 8 Porsches, I'm considering a different brand.

Well for me never owned Porsche ...and I'm 3rd on a list .
But I guess Porsche don't care.
To fulfill all sold owners that dealers have.
All well will leave my deposit there until the dealer tells me no go.
It's been a year that I had given the deposit.
All I can say Is I'm disappointed.

We appreciate the information you provide. At no time did I ever think you were misleading us. Please continue to post. Some guys are just frustrated and they need to take it out on a Porsche dealer.
