This doesn't make sense. I had the original build of July 21st like your car but Porsche pursuant to the notice (the subject of another thread) said all US GT3's will be delayed until September. MY dealer got the notice as did other dealers. Your car PDK?
It is possible your dealer has not update his system.

I was skeptical as well so went to check the dealers computer. I kept questioning them on the delay but they kept denying it. They did say that they had other builds that got delayed. Their system stated that the car was out of the body shop and should be completed by next week. He did say that the EPA cert can still delay it. I guess we will see if it comes through.

U.S. spec MY2018 911 GT3 production will be delayed until mid-September. No U.S. GT3’s will be shipped out of the
factory until September.
Dealers will see two different types of delays in PVMS.
Vehicle production dates in PVMS will be pushed back. These new completion dates should be an accurate estimation of the revised production date.
Vehicles may enter production in the system, but will not complete production (CP8) until mid-September

Told by my SA today that I have a really low chance of getting the .2 GT3 since I'm a first-time Porsche buyer. They are willing to refund my deposit. This is 2 year after I left my deposit at the biggest Canadian Porsche dealership. Bummer.
Here in Toronto, 2015 GT3 is still asking $30K over MSRP and those cars have been sitting there for over 6 months. I don't really understand the logic behind this business.
Too many alternatives these days, time to move on.
