Bingo!
It's hilarious when people say, "my sources said no more 991 RS's".
Could it be that the "sources" are trying to sell you a marked up 991.1 RS, or a soon to be marked up 991.2 GT3? Perhaps their reasoning is that Porsche is a non profit and its existence is to protect the value of existing RS's...just like how they protected the value of the 911R's...because the GT division would NEVER mate a manual transmission to a 4.0 engine...oops.
I don't need any cleaning lady to know that there will be a 991.2 RS with a NA engine. All I need is the assumption that Porsche wants to take my money.

yes life is too short ... enjoy it now and often.
you either can afford it or not. the fluctuation in price wont make that much difference. 991RS is not going to be $100k any time soon. dont hold your breath.

The same yahoos also said that they'd only make 500-600. Porsche is a for-profit company and it makes very little business sense not to build a .2GT3RS....that means literally leaving a BILLION in the revenues and HUNDREDS of MILLIONS in profits on the table.

This is a common misconception for the casual browser. The cars listed at the bottom of a cars.com search that have a stock cartoon image are ordered cars that are already sold. None of those are available for sale at MSRP.

How much were they fined for not complying.

I am late to team Yahoo my guess is the NA GT3RS is D O N E.

The 918 was made for that tech to be sent down it's not if ... it's when.

We are all sick in the head it's a matter of justifying / ability stroking a check and one other can or can not.

Mac's new toy has 720 hp Ford GT 650 - screwing around with 500hp +20 isn't going to prove anything.

Agree^

This was my point in the earlier post. No point in trying to sell the same car again. Which a 4.0l 991.2rs would be.

Can't really offer a MT like the 991.2gt3 and play that ball again.

GT2 arrives next coming later with a slower GT3RS doesn't make any sense all around let alone making it slower with a manual.

They built a .2GT3, .2GT3RS, .2GT2RS, and a 4.0GT3RS in the .2 versions of the 997 platform, why would they only do a .2GT3 and .2GT2RS with the 991 platform in the .2 versions? Makes no economic sense and as they say...if it don't make dollars, it don't make sense.

Whatever is the future
oh yes they can play that ball again and again and again

aren t .2GT3 pre-allocations already oversold?

as long as regulators permit it indeed pre-allication (earliest demand) will dictate any future GT model

would be a perfect world for a manufacter if any non GT model would be so easily predictable

the only game changer under discussion was deleting a manual GT3 in favour of only higher profit R MT models and RS auto ones but the economies...
