Took my car on the second drive today. Experienced my first issue. Car stranded me at a gas station for 1 hour due to refusing to start! Eventually someone brought a obd2 device and deleted the code that was preventing it.
Car had only 88 miles on the odometer when this happened. I bet this is a new record. Otherwise it’s been amazing. Hopefully no more bad luck.

budget in a code scanner/cleaning tool. Sounds like a new sales promotion for CJ, throw one in with every purchase.
Lap time for the 720 was ~5 seconds slower than Harris in the 2RS MR
The 720 is so good that you are comparing it to a heavily modified race car. Mod a sheet 720 with the appropriate tires (he ran with Corsa's) and see how the gap closes or wait for the LT which would be a better comparison. Tires alone are probably worth 2-3 seconds.

On both cars, tire wear ratings are rated at 80.
Don't think the focus of the 720's was about ultimate lap times, as it was for the GT2RS.
Stock vs. stock, the 720s are quicker in a straight line and the RS laps faster.
If you want to mod them, sky's the limit, 720's add in tires, and the RS adds boost, and so what?

Wear ratings, ha. The Corsa is a decent tire, but it's far from a Trofeo R or Cup 2, to say nothing of the Cup 2R, I don't care what the tread wear rating is. It'll be interesting to see how the 7xxLT performs, that is the real competitor for the 2RS.

#truth. 720 is a versatile car.. can be a cruiser and used for the track vs purpose built gt2rs. I'd rather have multi-purpose
saw a nice 720 in what i think was Vega Blue and then a Senna that looked to be mostly white with blue and red "livery" coming down 84 as we were heading up to Alice's. and then we saw the white CHP car that looked like he was on his way to pull over the Senna...
oddly, no other McLarens spotted up at Alice's. loads of BMW guys and a 991 GT3 that appeared to be matte black, but maybe just matte film over black paint.
and then a gang of Honda Groms and Ruckuses showed up and it was game over!
