Took my LT out today yet again. Flat out so beyond any fun I've had with any recent GT car, I affirmatively don't need another new one ever again. I'm still flat out shocked the thing is even road legal, it,s that ballistically crazy. Holy F. Never smiled as much in a modern car in my life. As far as I'm concerned about, best new age automotive purchase EVER, which in the end is all that really matters haha.
As far as relaibility goes - All manufacturers have their issues. Porsche .1 GT3 - took them a lot of hand wringing to stand behind their product. IMS. Coolant leaks. and so forth. I will say that Porsche is strong and on the top of the list of Performance / Reliability matrix. And maybe the best run car Company out there. But as far as emotion and excitement, goes, they are'nt on the top of that list for me. Even though I've been a die hard P guy all these years. It used to be Ferrari. Now I'm not sure. Mac's are quickly ascending. Products like the 720s, 675LT and 600LT have moved the game quite a bit. I do think they need some reliability improvement and expanded dealer network etc., which seems to be coming fast. The Performante is also a fun one - I certainly wasnt and am not really a Lambo guy. But once you cross $200K the competition goes beyond Porsche and for me, I'd pick something else. Under $200K no question Porsche. The GT3, GT3T are epic. And regular 911's are great or daily use. I think my TT is the perfect DD.

I purchased 2 new Ferrari from local dealer over the years- (430 scud, and 458 Italia). Out of curiosity I inquired about ordering a Pista - denied. Done playing games with Ferrari. N/A RS is prob better car for me anyway.

P1 all day , every day. Every Mac has been solid except for my 675. I didn't break it in and tracked it the first time I drove it. It just seemed that I had some bad luck with 675 because I have a lot of track friends who also own a 675 and it was fairly reliable. The Mac's like to be driven. You'll be susceptible to problems If they sit and sit and then you flog them on track (just a general observation of exotics).

Yes this is true I had one on order to get a Pista but canceled as the more I thought about it the more I got annoyed especially after buying several cars from this dealer in a short time frame.

Don't be so sure - the 720 is a beast. I have down pipes and exhaust on mine which really wakes it up. With this said the PIsta is the only car I would trade it for in this range other than another 720. What I am really after is the LT version which I will have as well. I'm sure that car will be in it's own league.

You're killing me - now i badly want a 600LT. I think Mac is getting more and more on their game and they have the most potential in this segment. IMO.

Oh, I prefer the 720s all day, every day in that comparison, but emotively speaking the F-car will have a hair more "sharpness" to it (as the 458 Speciale did) vs a 720. It's not supposed to compete there anyways though...thats what the 755 (or whatever) LT will be for and that thing is just going to be unfathomable. I'm a 100 percent Mclaren guy when it comes to supercars now!
gt2rs=pista=720 (these are in same category imo)
speciale =gt3rs=675 and 600 Lt
first bucket of cars are are much more useable for the typical buyer and are all aroubders . Tame on city streets and come alive on track.
second bucket is for shorter drives , your passenger probably will not like them but do great on track

Mclaren Scottsdale has a couple of incoming 600 LTs. Very seriously considering pulling the trigger on one of these.
