Yes - you can order the lift with or without inserts (gap fillers) between the ramps. They are aluminum diamond plated so pretty light and no bolts required to hold them in place. I ordered with the inserts but they are easily removable just in case one of the cars decides to piddling on the car below.

I have the HD9 unbolted (I bought the caster kit), the air compressor requirement is really something you need to evaluate because it's pretty annoying. I saw they're selling a bottle now that holds the pressure but from what I understand you have to use the lift often to maintain pressure.

Tangental question - but has / would anyone with the GT3.2 have measured the exact height of the car? I see it's listed at 50 inches, but so is my Spyder and that car looks lower to me when I line up the tape measure next to it.
Important for me to get an exact measurement, as when I do the math on the autostacker lift - I have only an inch or two to spare!

Hi - was just about to pull the trigger on the Bendpak ST. I measure the rear wheel track at 74 inches on the GT3 - which looked less than the 76.5 inches max width the specs say - what was the issue that prevented it from fitting?
Also - any ideas on cheapest place to buy a Bendpak and any installer recommendations for Bay Area, CA.
Thanks!

The HD-9 has an optional air tank that looks like a shock. Mounts under the rails so invisible. It uses the pressure from raising the lift and fills itself. As long as you use the lift somewhat regularly you don't need a compressor. I've had mine for over a year and haven't had any issues. Left the car alone for winter and didn't lose any pressure in the tank either.
I also has the optional air tank installed on my BendPak HD9. So far it has worked nicely. I have noticed though that the lift has to get pretty high up so that it can build enough internal pressure. I have 10+ ft ceiling and my cars get pretty close to it, otherwise pressure stays on the low side. Never have had a problem though and have left my car there for over two weeks at a time.
I've increased the garage door rails, so just need the lift to be delivered and installed now. Had to go with the HD9-ST to get it to fit - so really hope the GT3 or Spyder will fit!

It was $850 for me, including pick up at the local freight depot.
FYI, for those considering the RJ45 rolling jack it will not clear the air deflectors by the front wheels even with FAL, its very close but does not quite clear.
