Is there a reason you want a lift to span bumper to bumper? Wife's GL is 204" or 17'. Thinking as long as wheelbase is covered, then I am OK and leave a longer ramp for lowered Pcars to get up there.
This is mostly going to be Cayenne and 911 storage and parking. It would be nice for maintenance on GL to be included.
Brother also have a Maxjax that has never been installed and used. He is willing to give it to me which is nice but this means I will have two pieces of equipment in my garage..
My wife's GL also fits my AC Lift w/o any issues. I have their 6.5 lift, BTW.
Can you post a pic of the final product. I have a 2.5 garage w one lift and tempted to add a second but worried it will be too tight. Would like to seek your impression with this setup if you can still maneuver by ok.

It's custom..I wanted the post at the far four corners of the garage..out of the way. So they are in the corners and the structure spans to meet the cars

Very cool thanks. Where does the cross bar connect under the GL? Looks to be around the transfer case and transmission? My GL has the off road option so the under tray is steel plates which can be a challenge to move around due to weight and bulkiness.

Are you having someone like Bendpak do this for you custom or did you just hire an engineer to figure it out and are doing the welding and beams on your own? I would love to do two of these that are almost identical size in my garages.

This is the classic case of "you only get what you pay for" pick your price point and I can tell you what that lift is missing.
These days the Owners / Installation Manuals are written in a way that one can sell the most poorly designed and constructed lifts without any risk to the manufacturer.
One only has to read them to know which not buy, the worst offenders only make the installation manual available on delivery.

What do you consider as issues with Bendpak HD-9. For storing 911s (from a weight perspective).
