Based on the threads I've read re: aesthetics of the Crawford wing, the general consensus is that it works better than it looks (personally, I think it's the most unsightly aftermarket option one could buy).

I have not been following all the posts...Is there a confirmation regarding the manual transmission availability?

The cleaning lady says so.
Plus, there has never been so much chatter indicating that it's coming like in the case of the 991.2 GT3. On top of it all,you have clear pics of the mule running a manual. It's coming 100%!

I am really really glad to hear about the manual coming back. FWIW I am first on the list for next GT3 and GT3RS at my CO dealer. He told me that he thinks we would get it with the GT3 but who knows.

As for parking sensors many here have had them retro fitted by the dealer - they are a cobra kit same as Porsche use and look very factory finish. Cost is very reasonable at around 600 euro. I doubt these will be an option on the new GT3....
Lateral suggestion....but....not sure I could go with it. To my detriment, I am a **** about only using OEM parts but notwithstanding this, I think the Crawford wing is a bit too big. A bit too much..."look at me".

Yes look at the front bumper of the 718 Cayman...this is what we are gonna get styling-wise - sharpness:

I thought the wing looked a bit ugly too from pictures I saw on Rennlist. But when I saw it it looked much better in the flesh. Very purposeful. And it works! Better yet it only takes 15 minutes to flip between them if you wanted to fit it for a track day then revert back for the road...

At this moment, obviously only looking at the rendering, I like the front bumper of the .1. I'm sure that will all change once we see the actual.

Id like to know this too. I'm under no illusions about my order list or not. Which local (CO) dealers actually keep one and honor it these days?

If the 991.2 GT3 has motor and tranny/gearing, it looks like 74 mph redline in 2nd and 103 in 3rd. Shorter gearing than the gt4, very exciting.

Quick Reply: Could this be the 991.2 GT3?
