My local dealer has 2 GT3RS's in their showroom. Both are PTS. One is Signal Yellow, the other Fashion Grey (Modegrau - remember all those GT3 stories?) Anyway, both show window stickers slightly over $200K. Dealer is asking $399K each. This is the same dealer that sold me my GT3 at below sticker 18 months ago. They also have a '15 GT3, with 5K miles, on the showroom floor and they're asking over the original MSRP.

Good Lord. I'm appalled.

I'm getting offered cars all over the map but have never been able to buy a UV car for less than 40 over. White and Silver ones still 35k over or more asking and this is from individuals not just dealers.

PTS is it's own animal. You're either a buyer or a tire kicker and I know that mooty referenced buying milk at the store...some people are still wishing for PTS to be affordable and it is not.

I've sold a few to people through my store and bought two- riviera for myself and UV for wife. Paid up because I felt like it.

I would have loved to have gotten an allocation at msrp but horsed around and only got my GT4s at msrp. My R is msrp however which is in the end most important.

Ralph is a great guy and $35k over is a steal on a build able spot if existing inventory isn't below $30k.

In the eye of the beholder.

But maybe the more stunning examples I've seen are the classic colors from the 964, Rubystone & Mint Green. Both in LA. The mint green I really like.

But everyone seems to like the more traditional porsche blues and greens.

the bottom line is that the car is priced in an arena because of the PDK that more people can get behind of the wheel with their new money. lots of them could not previously drive RS because of third pedal.

it's more expensive than ever because it's physically easier for more people to drive. this is the duality.

^agreed 110 percent! That said the .2RS with the 3 pedals is lots of fun on and off the track.

There 3 pages of used RS's on the Porsche website. For a rare car that seems like quite a few.
