It doesn't need but if the car is from Ekanoo it's a car that will see a tune and mods very soon. So it's more a curiosity rather than a need.

Just been informed by my dealer that my WP car is delayed again until mid May (was due March) and it will be delivered on the standard wheels due to supply issues with the mags. They are aiming to have the proper wheels by Q4. The cars are also still coming with the wrong steering wheel.

Its **** poor really and and I could refuse delivery but I want to use the car over the Summer.

Anyone else had this? Anyone negotiated any goodwill gesture from Porsche?

what is the first delivery date you haved? Begining of march?
i think one year warranty extension from porsche for more than one month delay could be good

Not sure where you are located, but here in USA, warranty starts at the time of your actual delivery (plus 48 months) and whatever mileage you have from brand new plus 50K miles. Unless we are talking about "inconvenience" here where I have not heard Porsche giving any "grace period" in additional warranty due to delivery delays.

Drive safe,

Actually, factory warranty starts when the dealer punches the car as "sold" w/the factory, which could be months ahead of actual delivery. Why would a dealer do this? To report sales #s that please the boss, factory and/or qualify for factory incentives. Although it happens less frequently with GT cars, if at all.
