Your correct and we don,t have any of the ADM price hikes like you mentioned ,,,,but our set prices are very high indeed and our government really helps its self to your back pocket in a bad way eg on a GT3 RS base price $465K ........$138K is government Tax and duty ,,,they really tax you hard on high end performance cars ,,,,Why...? who knows why its just how it is and if you want one you Pay what is required and try not to think about it ..
.If I purchase a second Hand 991.1 GT3 RS for $500K and thats what some are going for currently the government still hits me with a stamp duty fee on the rego of $25K ,,at the moment you are better off ordering a new 991.2 GT3 RS and waiting 6 or 9 months for it to arrive and saving $25 to $30 as a well optioned 991.2 GT3 RS is around $500k

One the plus side we don,t have the issue of getting an allocation ,,,I literally can walk into the dealer and get one if I have the funds ..

In the U.S I believe you can get a new GT3 for around $150K .....In OZ $150 K gets you a used 996 GT3 .....

We are starting to see a lot of UK imports over here as the UK has a lot of great cars available due to your much larger market ,,,,unfortunately our government is all over taxing that also and they smash you hip pocket on high end imports also .....
to be honest I would rather these cars at U.S prices even with the Dealer mark ups ,,,but that just is,nt going to happen due to our market being so small .The dealers here can ask what they want and there are those who will pay to have these cars ,,it all just depends on how much you want or can afford to spend ..

Very nice pic. Triple threat of ketchup, mustard, and ketchup. These GT2RS are hot.

Yes I agree that's is better!

Just curious Kobalt if you don't mind me asking, are you lined up getting one of these bad a$$ GT2RS? I hope you do as it is very evident your interest on this latest GT2RS is very, very strong. Hoping you'll share with the group whichever color you get.

Have a great and safe work week everyone.

Drive safe,

Cars (and gas) are dirt cheap in the US. Everything sells at market price, in OZ the government gets the juice. If they got rid of the tax, Porsche would raise their AUS price some and you would start to see ADMs which the dealer and customers would participate in, like the US. Stuff is worth what it’s worth, the only question is how big is each slice of the pie (mfr, gov, dlr, cust).

Red looks so good on the 2!

Congrats Kobalt! Very happy you are able to secure one in Red Hot Sauce. My second choice actually after Honey Mustard. Mine doesn't arrive until late September but very happy to acquire this "King of the Ring."
