A lot of mainstream insurance companies won't even insure any GT cars nowadays. Would be curious to hear what people end up with. I have my vintage cars and my RS on a collector policy through ANPAC.
Actually it'd be interesting to know if one can get actual market value insurance on these cars, both for those who have paid ADM and those who paid MSRP but need/want to insure it for replacement value.
My replacement value was set based on my bill of sale (MSRP).

Well there must be a way to insure for actual market value and not msrp ... the same way that classic cars get valued, not at their msrp but at their market value.

Here in France my gt2 rs will be insure for msrp ( 340 k ) for 1200 euros \ years . But I can be unsure for the market value +\- 500 k.

Never had an issue with Chubb/ACE on an agreed market value - from memory MSRP + 20% no appraisal is needed, above that you need a market appraisal which costs about $200.

That sounds pretty good. It's not much more than I pay for 991.1 RS after adjusting for currency. Guess that shouldn't surprise given lower tolerance for lawsuits in EU.
Separate but related note, GEICO just doubled a friend's insurance when he swapped from 991.1 GT3 to 991.2 GT3.
