Heard the ACR on the long strait when I was in the gas station. Sounded OK.

First thought was What kind of idiot is driving like that!

That plow will come in handy during winter to clear snow on the roads.

The Weissach stripe and matching carbon roof REALLY helps the black hood not look aftermarket.

Cannot fathom the guys that are trying to claim it should cost 500+ from Porsche.

They are priced high enough to limit production but if you want someone to pay 650k but you say "it's not worth more than 150k to you"

Other than a totally stripped 2018 GT3 with a 148k msrp...no cars discussed in this entire subforum are below 150k! GT3RS? Hell even 2016 GT3's with good options are priced over 150. But yeah a 700hp track beast is worth less than those? Ok let me go find some really big salt grains.

I have no desire to get this car so one less person to compete with but I really do hope that all of you guys that really want the car get one and actually drive it and enjoy it. I hope Porsche limits the number of GT limited cars that they sell. Build baby build.

I think Porsche priced it about right. Are there are dudes who have deep pockets that want to be the first to have it willing to pay $100k+ over for it? But of course, but I bet there aren't more than a handful of guys like that. At $400k-$500k this car doesn't make too much sense.

Start with a token $500k 'msrp'. Invite all dudes that want one to submit bids to Porsche. Top 3000 (production capacity) bids get one. All bids $500k and above are guaranteed to get one no matter what. So if you want one, you can get one, just make sure your bid is in the top 3000. Easy.

I wouldn't even place my 150k bid as it's likely not to 'win' me anything and that's ok too. Plenty of other things out there with market prices way above their value to me. That's why I only buy/own some things instead of everything that's for sale.

I also agree that $350k is very close to the price at which everyone that wants one will get one, with some patience. The dudes that want one first usually pay a premium, and rightly so.

I'd say that's a little nd a '73 Carrera RS looks like nothing different than a 911 T. Just slightly larger rear flares, different front bumper, oh and a ducktail

This is is the best the brand, cars and company have ever been. Is there room for improvement, sure, but it is the most profitable car company and one of the most coveted brands in the world right now.

Remember the good ole days just six years ago when they discounted 4.0s on the showroom floor?
everyone who wanted a '73 RS got one and they ended up making just over 1500 of them, didn't seem to hurt them did it? Also, the 4.0's that were discounted (so were the GT2RS's) were more as a result of the horrible and unstable economy of the time. Notice what happened with those cars prices once the economy stabilized.

This is why Mooty has multiple children. He knows that he can only sell so many of his own organs before he's out of allocation. He planned ahead!

EXACTLY! It's a microcosm of exactly what's wrong in the world. People not wanting other people to have what they have in order to make themselves feel like they're special is such a disgusting show of narcissism! Enjoy what you have and hope others get to share in enjoyment. If you want something exclusive and one-of-a-kind, buy collectible art pieces. Cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed!

I agree, but if they leave the black CF hood in conjunction with the unpainted CF Roof of the Weissach package, I think it would look awesome as the theme is continued across the roof and onto the decklid and wing, which is why I'd want to delete the Weissach stripe! But with the non Weissach car being plain CF hood and painted roof, I agree, looks kinda "unfinished" or aftermarket. But then again, the 997 was like that and I never felt it looked that way. So maybe we just need to get used to it.
