Where is Andreas Preuninger quote confirming 991.2 GT3 w/ manual option?

But can we continue this speculation until the day it's announced? That could be a very very long time.

No doubt Andreas and his pals are reading these threads and laughing their heads off about all the speculation.
So much can happen in a large organization, that whatever is planned today might be swept off the table tomorrow. But at least there is enough for us enthusiasts to discuss and look forward to.

Have you considered what would happen to 997 prices if the 991.2 is offered in manual?
I think many people have a vested interest in NOT seeing a MT in current gen GT3, because they are seeing a nice increase in value for their 997. However, Porsche has proven that a MT mates very nicely with a 4L NA 500hp motor with the 991R and lots of hints that the 991.2 GT3 will be offered with a MT option.

The RS needs something to differentiate itself besides just a larger wing, larger wheels, and a transmission.
Say Porsche offers a detuned 4.0 for the GT3. Even THEY know that everyone will just reflash it so that it's at least as powerful as the RS, warranty be damned.
Say they don't detune it. WTH makes the 911R special then? A magnesium roof is worth that kind of premium? Don't think so. And why stab your VIP's in the back within 6 months?
If the .2 goes to $185K they can count me out, I'll just keep my 'worthless' .1

You know, that thought has crossed my mind. But being a GT3 with most likely the first and last 9K RPMs engine,it will probably hold a good value regardless of what the 991.2 will be like...

GT3 customers will come in droves. I already know of at least two who are ready to jump in. Glad I abstained. Rewards coming up.

Why does everyone seem to think it will get the 4.0?

Porsche will put the 4.0L engine in the .2 GT3, because it's time, and because they've pushed 3.8L beyond the limits of consistent track reliability.

Because I am not trying to make any point but to find the answer to my question.
NO agenda here. While I personally have my own preferences towards a PDK, I could hardly care less what others want in a car -- be it a GT or some other Porsche variant.
And, for what it's worth, I knew about what Preuninger said at RRV to select individuals in attendance. But that was nearly 6 months ago.
I am asking now because these articles make it appear that Preuninger said something in the interim, which is why I am asking. And it's for personal reasons unrelated to the whole PDK versus MT debate.
I am going to say it again, and for the last time. My post was written sparsely and carefully so as to avoid any agenda-driven innuendo.
I only asked because I want to see exactly what Preuninger said. Why is that so wrong?
If it is, then I simply do not understand the rules of this forum. And for that, I guess I apologize.
