As a recent purchaser of a 2014 GT3, it's horrible hearing about so many problems from other forum members. My car was purchased from a Porsche dealer CPO, under warranty through 9/2019 and with just over 4,000 miles. The build date shows 7/14 and the print out from the dealer service department shows no record of an engine replacement to date for my VIN. I was told that the car had it's original engine and that appears to be the case. Given the build date, I assume my risk at this point is running into the misfire issue that others have experienced. Do we have any idea what percentage of cars with the E motors have been affected?
I'm wondering, if after the stop sale and original E engines were replaced with the newer E engine, how many 14's were built after that and when did the production start up again?
^^^ That is correct. From March all cars had the new engine from the factory - only cards already delivered, on ships, at Port or dealer yard had engine fitted by replacement crate engine with new engine umber stickers and adjustments to licensing databases for engine numbers etc.

Thanks Macca, that validates what I'm seeing in the vehicle history report. I have a numbers matching car as long as this engine lasts. Hopefully a very long time!

I thought there were no more MY14's built after the stop sale. The next GT3s off the line were MY15 iirc.
