Sweden is an "A"-market and according to PIWIS the interval is 40k km / 4 years.

Europe is an ''A'' market and this ''every year change the spark plugs'' is not applicable.
they told me it is related to fuel quality in B or C market!

Im surprised New Zealand and Australia are B markets as we do not have poor fuel. We have 98 RON ex Singapore via the same refineries I suspect supply most of mainland Europe.

Makes you wonder though.

Late last year the RS intervals in the USA as I understand it brought down to 20k km and 2 years as per my first slide. Thats is actually a picture from another RL member of the sticker that was issued to cover the original page in the manual - you can see its a sticker if you look at the edge which has been lifted a bit.

The second slide was from NZ and Australia PWSIS for 991 GT3 specifically.

Given the issues with these engines, and the running changes by the factory I think if I were in Europe using this car on the track Id be changing the plugs every 2 years maximum.

Heck Im now change the oil every 4 track days and it doesnt say that in teh book either?

The service intervall thing is confusing... But it is great to have the Rennlist resources at hand!

Thanks all!

The classification is a bit weird, agreed, not sure what goes into it. A-markets are basically most of Europe and thats it.

What the book says and how I actually maintain my car are two very different things

^^^ Anders, everytime I see your avatar, I love the look of Miami blue. Do you have anymore pics of your car that you would like to share?

New engine arrived today from Germany. Goes in Monday! G6 designation. Not sure what that means from an internal parts perspective. Came on it's own metal frame carrier and had coolant in the pipes, so I'm guessing it was run at the factory.

Nice. Looking forward to getting mine. How long did it take once it was ordered?

They ordered it Tuesday arrived this morning, Friday. They indicated it was in Germany but I can't imagine anything getting through customs that quickly. So not sure where it was stored. However, quick delivery once the decision is made. I am gently driving my old engine with new G heads until Monday when they make the swap.

Lovely! Great work Carmen and thanks for the data point. We have not seen a "G6" engine yet so this is the first! Impressive steel frame, I cant recall seeing this used on prior replacement engines which came in a crate...very fast service too! Im guessing they are keeping a small store of these at PCNA as its an ongoing necessity.

Agree, I want to say they are keeping these in Atlanta so Rich should get his quickly. There were 7 in inventory when they ordered mine Tuesday. Wherever inventory is.

Last two words are a concern. There is a difference between PAG being reactive as opposed to proactive.
