Really happy with R.N.'s work and making the car track focused is really the right move. The GTLM car is astonishingly quick and the car is a showstopper. Hoping for a custom livery on mine

^yes, for sure. I will not be specific on colors on mine. Blue/white stripe is fine.
My car will never see a track, but it will never ever see C&C either.
A few weeks ago when in Dearborn I was allowed to see the guys building the engines in Livonia...No need to name names...Looking forward to seeing the Multimatcs set up as time permits soon.

^it's not so bad. I meant to say that I don't have the patience to park and hang around at car shows and C&C. I last about 10min max. And no time for tracking, and been there and done that 30yrs+ ago. All cars are meant to be driven and I drive everything every chance I get.

looks like production has been extended out 4 years, with new lists opening up in 2018.. makes sense, why not try to meet the demand... 500 cars seemed like such an absurdly small number.

Don't be surprised if in that 4 year run they don't offer a 5.0 tt. The 6 cyl tt was one thing that bugged me about the car and had me wondering if I should part with $500k for one.
Same rumblings as to the new Raptor. Maybe 5.0 to be offered later.

Yep, here you go: http://www.motortrend.com/news/ford-...to-four-years/
I'll be in for one of the final MY vehicles. I prefer end of the run anyway.

Waxer, no 5.0 Ford GT. The motor is a hand built Roush motor and still evolving to make the power reliably. It is an animal on the dyno....I've been to Livonia twice now, once to Dearborn, and once to Mutltimatics. This car would be right up your alley.
The raptor boys are different and they have been wanting a V8 since the EcoBoost announcement.

The power a tt can now efficiently make is why I've been saying the days of the Porsche NA GT cars are numbered.
Maybe I'll make the cut in the next 4 years. Any idea of yearly production?
Any idea if the rumblings of a 5.0 Raptor in the wings is accurate? Will it be tt? I've been holding off on a new Raptor for this reason.
