RS Ebay Prices Thread

A UV RS went on 4/14/16 for $309k at dealer acution in Palm Beach FL. 42 miles. That was the hammer. Not sure what the add'l buyer premium was on top of that since it was a dealer auction and those are much less than the 10% buyer premium you see at public auctions.

Wow - seems "excessive"

Yes seems above where the market is right now but that was the recorded price at that auction. If anyone has access to the dealer auctions you can see it there. Car was probably a 210k plus MSRP I would guess. Whoever sold that one got a good price for it. That was just under 6 weeks ago as well.
The market seems a bit all over the place. Anywhere from about 40k over to 100k over. I think future price direction will depend on how many more Porsche decides to build. Once the window closes prices may firm up.
You could have bought a 918 for over a year at MSRP all day long. Once production stopped everyone was asking 1.5 to 2M for them. Some people were paying that even though just a month earlier they could have spec'd their own for under a million. Of course today they are still asking some crazy prices but the real ones who want to sell seem to be coming down while the others sit for months and months (some a year now). A broker told me one sold recently as low as 1.188M.

Martin was very clear what he was willing to pay, and it helped that it was exactly how I valued the car.
I have ended up involved with some extremely cool cars in the mean time and my wife has given me the double hands on hips thing-
"Wtf if you are selling my LT just as I can start ripping around again I better get something cool in return!"
And to be fair I would not sell her LT but with the spider coming out- I had to do some cool MSO stuff to a car. We will share that one. It will have sweet stripes and match my P1 a bit.
Oh and fwiw I bought McLaren Scottsdale from Auto Gallery so now Martin and I are bonded for life. More on that in another thread as I am still working on the site sponsor side of things and don't want to ruffle anyone.

Just offered champion 40k over for their UV RS. Hopefully they say yes. Probably not.

The Champion one is nice. Its on consignment from the owner (not the dealer) that also owns the Silver on e they have without buckets. He's sat on it for a while. However, I'd be very surprised if they took 40k over. Very. But good luck.
