A lot of talk and criticism about the premium but is it worth it?

Lots of people searching so it seems to be so. But I still can't figure out, is it $90k better than a GT3??

Jeff
this can be explain this way...
if you are a watch guy, do you wear a pp or timex?
if you are a bike guy, do u ride a cipo or trek
if you are a stereo guy, do ur run jadis or MP3 noise box
that will tell you why RS is RS
is it better? probably not but it is an RS.

The biggest problem with owning the RS is you can't go back to anything else below it. It basically ruins you.

Have to go different direction altogether, just add wacky stuff to garage instead of trade RS for something else.

I like my RS more than the GT3. I don't like it more than my 488. YMMV.

My RS is hands down the best car for the money. Can be drive daily and dominate at the track every weekend. I was skeptical before driving it never having owned a PDK car and wasn't sure why Porsche would not give us the opnion. Having a 997.2 RS and 997.1 GT3 in manual gearboxes I thought it was sacrilegious not to have it in the current RS. I have changed my option 180 degrees. Frankly, having a manual gearbox in this car would put an artificial limit to this cars capabilities. You cannot possibly keep up with the speed of the acceleration and shift manually. That said I am still a MT fan and all my other cars are MT as for the RS...All I can say is I am always smiling when I drive it and cannot get enough of the PDK gearbox! This car is THAT GOOD!!There are plenty of more expensive cars but few that are this well rounded!!

To be able to relate how truly good it is, you have to own one.

Drive safe,

Let's ask this another way, how many paid over $250K for their RS?

I paid MSRP but if the car was more expensive, it would still be worth it given what else you can buy for the money.. Cars have gotten ridiculous across the board. When Caddy can ask $90K Porsche can ask $200K

i have some slow antique that are stick.

i still use the imaginary clutch pedal in it and i heel and toe the 991RS no problem.
SD that blue is great on the RS. congrats.
