It depends if same as with 997RS the GT2RS is so far off in price and target it didn't affect the GT3RS, only the 4.0 did in that it pulled the 3.8RS up with it. after losing about 10-15% of MSRP initially.
If there is a dip in the economy like 2008 or worse then it will dip again when the 991.2GT3RS arrives and we all buy the new one.
If that turns out the be the GT2RS than 997RS 4.0 (Peter) is probably right.

Everything has increased in value over the last 3 years.
I think 991rs will be around MSRP when the gt2rs is released. Just my $0.02. We'll just have to wait and see.

Does anyone really think they won't offer a 991.2 GT3RS and a GT2RS? It seems like a huge opportunity ($) lost to skip the .2 GT3RS.
It's also odd to have the 2RS this early in the cycle. Has there ever been a mid cycle 2RS? Isn't it usually a 2 and then 2RS at the end of the cycle. Or just a GT2 at end of cycle? If we get a 2RS this early the special end of cycle turbo car should be ridiculous.

Just called my dealer and he says he hasn't heard of any, but has a customer that will sell me his for 90k over. If anyone has a dealer with an allocation that wants some business please PM me. If they are all gone I think I will just wait for used to drop. What do you all this a PTS is worth over MSRP?

Yeah I've heard about this 100 new allocations thing but where are they?
I'm starting to come to grips with a premium I just don't know what the right amount is right now? Dealer prices seem to be dropping and the last thing I want to do is enable this crap..
but I want one so badly!!!
