So after about 300 miles, I started hearing a rattle coming from the rear of the car when driving over any bumps (ie. driveway entrance / pavers / etc). The noise was much more pronounced when on a slight angle and when the rear right wheel traversed over the bump. This occurs at low speed (< 5mph) but the noise was audible at 70 mph as well.
When I opened the rear lid, the noise went away.
I could reproduce the creaking by pulling back ever so slightly on the rear wing.
Examining the two adjustable posts towards the front of the lid showed wear marks on the forward part of the posts. The hinge for the rear deck sits on top of these posts.
I placed two pieces of rubber on top and the noise went away.
I wanted to post this here if anyone else runs into this issue.
I think some had this issue with the 991 GT3. I think you can adjust the (2) black rubber pieces so that it is more flush when you close and rattle will end.
I think the RS would have the same pieces.
But you may want to wait for more input because it is easily corrected

Yep. Tried adjusting the rubber posts on the lid (13mm nut) at various positions with no success in reduction of the creaking noises. Clearly there may be an adjustment needed on the front posts. The noise was so clear that I was prompted to investigate the suspension components to make sure everything was tight.
I had a bit of a noise on my 3, made the slight adjustment and all has been well ever since.
I didn't try to adjust those since they were painted (as if it's preset by factor and not design to be played with). The rubber pads solve the problem, so I'll probably leave those and see how it goes.
Mine was doing the same but it was created by the hard rubber to rubber contact from the supports at the rear of the lid. The painted studs shown above are the same on my car but are at the front edge of the lid and don't seem to bear any weight at all. When I complained about the noise the dealer added felt to the top mount. There was something in his system about it so it seems like a common complaint.
