I believe they are made by Crown. They supplied the steel frame, hydraulic components and installed the doors. We supplied and installed the poly carbonate faces ourselves.

The poly carbonate is like a honeycomb that provides an insulating layer, allows a lot of light but still provides privacy. They are much lighter than glass but also much stronger. http://moxiesurfaces.com/clear-pep.html

Of course you can use any other material. On the "Barn", we have a 45' bi-fold door that has clear plywood on the interior side and clear coated corten steel on the exterior.

That is a great building, looks good and very functional. You've got an awesome property from the looks of it, enjoy!!

It has three 20'+ hydraulic doors, distributed compressed air, water, 3 phase power, and lots of tools! The roof is a planted roof with grasses.

I think I rec'd an e-mail the other day about this. You can see that this is the same architect as Phil's hanger. Very nice modern, clean look. I love it. Unfortunately my car collection hasn't spread that far north....yet!

I love it- very nice and well planned, you are living the dream (at least mine!). The only thing you and I share is that I plan to buy a Stilo helmet soon! Otherwise, you are on a whole different level.

Guys, thanks for the kind comments. It has been fun going from vague concept to completed structures. Happier that is now done though.

I brought my new track toy home this weekend and realized it was too low to go up my driveway, so I had to unload directly into the garage.

Usually I see that complaint from folks living in San Francisco proper and the like, but when I saw your rather ordinary driveway approach I just laughed! Nicely done!

The most exciting and best handling car I have ever driven, by far! I only have about 2 hours of seat time and have turned my fastest laps at Sebring, its absolutely exhilarating!
