DM1. What else to add...
If you would ask me for three weekend warriors --> i would exactly say those three cars.

all the best!

maybe i would exchange the 3RS against a 2RS - as long there is enough NA magic on hand.

Now that is kinda cool. I am still a fixed garage guy, but for someone who likes to RV in style and take you nice cars with you, I could see where that would work.

Beautiful stuff Eric and thanks for the shout out! I can't wait to come visit and see the showroom in person some day. I love all the vintage factory racing posters, maybe even more than my own prints!

i would do 991 3RS against 2RS (both 991 - both PDK)

997.2 3RS stays. handshift, small chassis and so on...

I don’t own a 991GT3, but if I get my M/T soon then I won’t feel bad posting here. (Someone who reads these forums is taking care of me and you know who you are...thank you )

6 months delay on start thanks to fighting the neighbors over house and shop location. Followed with various battles with the county and the city. I bought plenty of land to do whatever I want but it doesn’t work like that. CO is the new CA.
...but here we go...And the wifey wants her house built first.

Sketch of the standalone shop:

Default LED/lighting question

So I have 2.5 crews busy framing the house and the shop. All framing to be done in 2 weeks. Next week'sh pouring garage floor. Need to move fast before more snow...

Things creeped up and shop is now 4,000 sq.ft. I went with a flat floor design versus minor-minor pitch; slope only at drain

Ceiling height in garage goes from 12'6" to 16'. QUESTION: Need lighting ideas please? Please post pictures or recommend ideas for lighting...

One part of shop will be "working" shop with lifts/tools/etc. and I will want to lighten it up. But 70% will be just storage of nice / finished car and I can go with soft lighting.

TIA

In my garage that’s 2800 ft of floor, and 16ft ceilings I did flat panel LEDs. On dimmers. The floor is also a glossy (but textured) finish. They work great, just increase the amount of fixtures in the working area. I did that over detail bay.

They look like ceiling tiles and are very thin. The light is even and diffused. I’ll try and find pics and update for you.
