The sound of that tailgate dropping still sends a cold shiver down my spine. On the other hand; an empty Perentie on the sandy tracks of Shoalwater Bay - Quite the rally car

Thanks for the comments guys!
About the GT350, to be honest, my C2S (which I've owned for 8 years) has hardly been driven in the year since I've gotten the GT350. The GT350 is just too much fun and I keep grabbing for its keys.
I find the GT350 to be a superior driving experience in just about every way. The sound of the flat plane crank V8 is just amazing and is a big part of the enjoyment for me. The down side is the car's size and weight, the Porsche is more nimble and has better steering feel (being non-electric). Some GT350 owners have complained about Ford's quality. It's certainly no Porsche in that regard, but my GT350 has an excellent finish and so far reliability has been flawless (knock on wood).

If you can seriously find a GT350R that's msrp or close to it, don't delay too much if you really want one. The car is worth it, period. Most dealers especially in the larger metropolitan markets are asking at least 20k over msrp and many are still getting minimum 15k over sticker...
