Really busy lap

Thanks for this years Scuderia Hanseat Kobalt, my 174 points was not good enough for Winners group so I will try again next year

174p sucks, in a way. But you drive terrific never the less.

But the good thing is that you will get more prices next time.
I'll get empty handed: So if you want I'm happy to help you carry them.

I'm back in Nürburg on Thursday, a day too early because of travel issues.

Plan is:

Friday: Tourist driving on the evening, maybe trackday, meet fellow Rennlister
Saturday: Tourist driving
Sunday: 4 hours of RCN in the afternoon and 1.5h of time training in the morning.
Monday: Trackday

This race is going to be really interesting as this is in the exakt format of an VLN race: Time training for startorder and then three start groups.
Rolling start after a complete formation lap on the Nordschleife.
So the start is on the GP track which is used in it'd VLN configuration: Mercedes arena and shortcut.
Opposite to a normal RCN race this race is "first to cut hte finish line"-wins race. So I expect it to be much tougher on the track then otherwise.

I was fortunate enough to have a passenger lap yesterday with Kobalt driving me in his RS on the Nordschleife and it was fantastic! Such a pleasure to be driven at warp speed but so smoothly and competently that you don’t fear for your life. Really gives me an appreciation how it is supposed to be done

Grant: My pleasure, entirely.

Peter: Ring naster, wow, don't think so!

I was coached today by the Ring master - so I know.
Really interesting. Its all about the details - that's all I can say.

Grant: Maybe you can get a ride tomorrow with my friend in his 991.2 GT3 Manual transmission - you met him at till hill today.

Yes, but will there still be ED??

You didn’t get your own car, why what’s the story?
Is this a Germany thing or a Porsche thing?

After what one describe as a chaotic day at touristdriving - MANY closures of the track it is now time to focus on tomorrows race which is a 4hour race where weather will be really good, at least on paper.

Todays weather was also good but still the track was wet in some parts at 15.00.

The morning time training which will most likely be done on slicks on a mixed wet and dry track.

When the race finally starts in the late afternoon the very low sun will most certainly be an important factor in the race. It is easiest to describe it as: You don't see nothing.
it is getting darker at the end. Not pitch black but rather dark though.

It's going to be interesting...
