Well, you still need more downforce, don't you?
It could have been a lot worst without the reaction of the driver of the French Mégane.
Car looking kind of weird in the front but it is just debris driving thru the stuff these two guys put on the track:

Higher speed -> More downforce 
If I would go at the same speed with my 997.1 GT3 I would be very brave or maybe stupid: There would be a lot of air beneath the wheels.
I suppose less downforce and harder suspension makes a better flyer.

In the pic below are three 'Ring residents who I happen to know. One certain black 996 turbo is missing from the pic.
I'm unfortunately not fortunate enough either to own a season ticket or able to keep my car there. But will be back next summer for (hopefully) a private trackday -or two.
