So: I guess restart 07:00.

I'm so disappointed. No night stints this year either. :-(

Good thing for many teams is that they now have time to fix their cars.
We are having problem with a drive shaft. A rubber boot cracks for some reason. We had to change one driveshaft in qually - now it is time for number two.
It also turned out that the serpentine belt is wearing bad.
We will fix this tonight.

Good luck with the repairs. Sorry it’s year two of abbreviated 24 hrs.

Thanks Peter,

N24H is getting shorter and shorter for each year now.
2022 it will be a 6H race.
2023 a 3H race
2024 maybe just Qually 😜

View from my window. Somewhere out there you normally see Nordschleife.

Thank you guys!

We spun and hit the barriers 2H before end of race - this resulted in lost in top speed and a hood that needed race tape.
All in all we lost 18 minutes because of this. We where scheduled for a p3 in class and at least a p70 in total when we hit coolant in Hohe Acht.

Andrew repaired the car on site and brought it back to the pits for me to jump in and do the last stint.

On my second lap at 210 kph the hood came loose and we had to pit again...

Amazing to pull off a finish with the windshield so smashed. Also amazing to even get it back to the pit with the hood blocking the windshield! Some very impressive driving by you and Andrew and teamwork by the crew.

What an adventure, the car looks like it’s been to the Green Hell and back!
