A nice look back in time. Looks more like the racing section of a Porsche Club then F1 :-)
Ronnie Petersson lead the race until lap 78 (out of 80) when he got a flat tire.

Finally - a new season on its way
Good weekend at the Ring doing mostly training for the NLS race series start (hopefully in two weeks).
Weather was... mixed.
Cold: 0-5°C.
A lot of rain. Snow and hail. And sun!
Might post videos later.

I didn't us any Porsche during these two days becuase of weather and the lock down - better be careful.
Day 1 we drove on Micheline rain tyres and Day 2 in TF Dunlop Direzza. I'd say the rain tyre is a bit better in the cold and wet - LOL.
The Direzzas was keeping me awake for every second.
Day 1 was 100% wet and Day 2 was snow in the morning and a delayed opening of TF. Then it was a mix all day between rain, snow and hail and actually some sun.
When it was at its best the track was maybe 90% dry. It was great do do a lot of wet and slow laps to later be able to go almost at 100%.
It is always trycky to adjust your driving when you come up in speed in the dry and the rain falls again and you really must slow down and change the line.
Some nice pictures from TF.

Sabine Schmitz has left us. A racer, a role model and a very fun person to be around.

At the same time...
It is very strange/fun to see my car at the top of the NLS (VLN) site. I guess it is the poster car for the first race (for some strange reason). For me it is an honour.
Probably it is some web guy who don't know the series/cars that has choosen the picture
